GITEX Technology Week Event Review

Updated: Apr 9, 2020

This year, we have seen it all, from flying cars, tens of different types of robots, one more sophisticated and smarter than the other, to all sorts of innovations that blew us away.

With over 4,500 exhibitors and 150,000 participants from all over the globe, #GITEX has grown to become one of the largest events of its kind in the world. Global names such as Microsoft, Google, Amazon, SAP, HPE, Fujitsu along with hundreds of startups and homegrown businesses have unveiled their latest technologies at the show.

#Veritas had a strong presence this year and showcased the latest data protection and cloud enhancements offerings. The attendees that visited the stand, saw presentations that demonstrated cutting edge solutions as well as having the opportunity to speak with the experts from Veritas and the local channel team. Some of the key topics discussed with customers included best practices on how to modernize data protection, tips on jump-starting recovery, cloud fundamentals, how to address the ransomware attacks, data management best practices, and much more.

I had the pleasure to join the Veritas team and give a presentation per day for the entire week at their stand.

They say a picture says a thousand words, so here is a photo montage of what happened on Veritas’ stand at #GITEX this year:
